Loai has established the Investment Banking business within Oman Arab Bank SAOC back in 1998, which became the top-ranked investment banking outfit in Oman. Created opportunities, raised funds, successfully delivered over 50 corporate finance and advisory transactions, valued at over US$ 8 billion. He led the development of several large projects/companies, including 27 IPO’s as well as raised capital via private placement. Managed and structured the first spin-off in it is kind in Oman of the Investment Banking business of Oman Arab Bank SAOC and converted to a stand-alone fully-fledged investment bank (Ubhar Capital SAOC) in 2016 and created value for the bank shareholders.

Loai was recognized among the Top 25 influential ex-pats and among the Top 100 CEOs in Oman for many years by OER Oman. Headed the task force to set up the Islamic Banking window in Oman Arab Bank. Loai has a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and BS Money & Banking. He also attended The Moller Institute, Investment School in the University of Cambridge, UK year 2002. He is currently residing in Dubai, UAE, and is happily married to his wife Rania with three grown children.
