Mr. Doug Spencer over 25 years of technology industry experience and hands-on agile transformations to his client engagements.  He’s currently focused on developing TechCXO’s Northwest practice focusing on C-level coaching, advisory and interim management services to accelerate growth or turn around operations, build and train high performance teams, and investor due diligence and transaction support. An expert in Agile processes that can transform a technology business, his experience along with the rest of the TechCXO team can help client companies map effective strategies that will create sustainable competitive advantage, accelerate growth and ultimately achieve their goals.

Doug started his career at Intergraph as a software engineer creating groundbreaking GIS/MIS products and helping the company grow 5X to over $1B in revenue. Shortly thereafter he invented new non-mainframe products and was leader in an international turnaround effort at Compuware, helping the company grow 6X to $1.6B. Throughout the 2000’s Doug was active in numerous corporate turnarounds resulting in successful exits for each. He’s invented and brought to market several enterprise products and has experience with high-volume SaaS, shrink-wrapped software, CDNs, Internet appliances and embedded systems development. He's established several offshore operations for Fortune 500 and smaller clients, built with an agile philosophy, achieving massive cost savings and improving time to market. As an international business development executive, he's taught strategic enterprise sales techniques, agile development, and best business practices to executives in several developing economies.

Doug is currently providing interim CxO, Strategy, Information Technology, Product, and Advisory related services to early- and growth-stage technology companies in the Northwest and West Coast region.
